The Windfall Familiar Ghost Figurine - Bojangles
The Familiars do not belong to the guild. Not exactly.
They were never apprenticed, never sworn in, never given a merchant's mark. They simply... arrived. As cats do. And having arrived, they stayed. As cats do.
They learned the rhythms of the guild; the long hours, the careful work, the particular silence of a room where old things are being recorded. And they decided this was acceptable.
They are not catalogued in the Merchant's Ledger.
They are aware of this. They have opinions about it that they have chosen not to share.
Bojangles is recorded as a lively orchard Familiar, most often glimpsed at the edge of the windfall where the grass is thick with fallen fruit and the air has turned sharp with autumn. Several accounts describe him appearing after a restless night of weather, when branches have been shaken and the ground beneath the trees bears the first signs of gathering.
He is regarded as a keeper of the overlooked harvest: a small watchful presence said to linger where fruit has dropped early, where baskets are being filled, and where the season’s abundance is measured not only by what remains on the branch, but by what has already been given to the earth. Older notes suggest that where Bojangles settles, the orchard is seldom empty for long.
Bojangles the ghost cat figurine stands at 5 cm in height.
