Dravenor is a handmade collectible Stonewright ghost figurine, individually poured and engraved by The Nordic Ghost Merchants in Denmark.

These ghosts have a deliberately cracked and chipped outer layer.

Stonewrights are created through a carefully timed two stage casting process. Creating the fractured markings make each Stonewright entirely individual.

No two fracture quite the same way.

Within the records of The Nordic Ghost Merchants, Stonewrights are associated with limewashed walls, old foundations and stones worn smooth by generations of hands. Their markings resemble the fine fractures found in ageing plaster and masonry; the quiet evidence of winters endured, timbers settling and houses refusing to fall.

They are not said to cause such cracks.

Rather, Stonewrights are recorded wherever something has been repaired many times and is still expected to endure.

For this reason, they have long been associated with persistence, repair and the stubborn survival of old places.

They are most often depicted sitting silently beside walls.

Whether they are inspecting the workmanship remains undocumented.

Dravenor is most often recorded beside walls that have been repaired too neatly.

He has little interest in fresh plaster, straight lines, or the reassuring appearance of permanence.

Within days, he is usually found studying the places where the old fractures have begun to show through again.

The Stonewrights maintain that this is not pessimism.

Dravenor simply prefers an honest wall.

Dravenor the ghost figurine measures almost 9 cm in height.
