The Samhain Harbinger Ghost Figurine - Ephraim

Ephraim is a handmade collectible Samhain Harbinger ghost figurine created by The Nordic Ghost Merchants in Denmark, inspired by autumn folklore, old seasonal traditions, and the travelling spirits recorded throughout Merchant accounts.

The Samhain Harbingers are travelling spirits of the turning season.

They arrive at the threshold between autumn and winter, when the evenings draw in, lanterns are lit earlier, and the old year begins to loosen its hold. 

They are not omens of misfortune.
They are witnesses to change, quiet reminders that seasons turn, darkness passes, and you have weathered every hard thing that came before them. 

They stand watch at the edge of the year, keeping their own counsel, carrying with them the hush of late autumn and the strange comfort of familiar shadows.

Ephraim is said to appear at the edge of autumn fields just as the light begins to fail, when crows grow quiet and the first chill settles into the hedgerows. He is a still and observant Harbinger, more often seen watching than wandering, and old records suggest that where Ephraim lingers, the season is already turning in earnest.
