The Samhain Harbinger Ghost Figurine - Cadoc
Cadoc is a handmade collectible Samhain Harbinger ghost figurine created by The Nordic Ghost Merchants in Denmark, inspired by autumn folklore, old seasonal traditions, and the travelling spirits recorded throughout Merchant accounts.
The Samhain Harbingers are travelling spirits of the turning season.
They arrive at the threshold between autumn and winter, when the evenings draw in, lanterns are lit earlier, and the old year begins to loosen its hold.
They are not omens of misfortune.
They are witnesses to change, quiet reminders that seasons turn, darkness passes, and you have weathered every hard thing that came before them.
They stand watch at the edge of the year, keeping their own counsel, carrying with them the hush of late autumn and the strange comfort of familiar shadows.
Cadoc is said to emerge in the stillness before true nightfall, when the fields have quieted and even the last birds have gone thoughtful. Old merchant notes describe him as a steady autumn witness, often seen where the air has turned cold enough to carry woodsmoke and the season has begun its slow descent toward Samhain. Where Cadoc lingers, the evening is seldom far behind.
Cadoc the ghost figurine measures 8 cm in height.
These are handmade ghost figurines created from hand-poured jesmonite. Each pour produces a completely unique pattern.
These ghosts have hand painted bases, engraved with The Nordic Ghost Merchants logo and their individual names.
This ensures we offer the ultimate collectible ghost figurines.
