Runa is a handmade collectible Samhain Harbinger Familiar figurine created by The Nordic Ghost Merchants in Denmark, inspired by old Scandinavian folklore, autumn omens, and the Familiars recorded throughout Merchant accounts.

The Familiars do not belong to the guild. Not exactly.

They were never apprenticed, never sworn in, never given a merchant's mark. They simply... arrived. As cats do. And having arrived, they stayed. As cats do. They learned the rhythms of the guild; the long hours, the careful work, the particular silence of a room where old things are being recorded. And they decided this was acceptable.

They are not catalogued in the Merchant's Ledger.

They are aware of this. They have opinions about it that they have chosen not to share.

The Samhain Harbinger Familiars are most often recorded during the weeks when autumn begins to lean toward winter. Their arrival is noted around dusk, after rain, and wherever the last orange light gathers low against the ground. Whether they travel with the Harbingers or simply appear at the same time each year remains unresolved

Runa is most often recorded on the first mornings when frost begins to gather along field edges and garden stones.

She is usually found sitting where the pale ground meets the last dark leaves of autumn, watching the light return without appearing particularly impressed by it.

Merchant notes describe her as unusually patient, though several add that Runa will leave immediately if approached too eagerly.

No explanation has been offered.

Runa the ghost cat figurine stands at 5 cm in height.
