The Samhain Harbinger Familiar Ghost Figurine - Cinder
Cinder is a handmade collectible Samhain Harbinger Familiar figurine created by The Nordic Ghost Merchants in Denmark, inspired by old Scandinavian folklore, autumn omens, and the Familiars recorded throughout Merchant accounts.
The Familiars do not belong to the guild. Not exactly.
They were never apprenticed, never sworn in, never given a merchant's mark. They simply... arrived. As cats do. And having arrived, they stayed. As cats do. They learned the rhythms of the guild; the long hours, the careful work, the particular silence of a room where old things are being recorded. And they decided this was acceptable.
They are not catalogued in the Merchant's Ledger.
They are aware of this. They have opinions about it that they have chosen not to share.
The Samhain Harbinger Familiars are most often recorded during the weeks when autumn begins to lean toward winter. Their arrival is noted around dusk, after rain, and wherever the last orange light gathers low against the ground. Whether they travel with the Harbingers or simply appear at the same time each year remains unresolved
Cinder is most often recorded near old hearths and cooling fireplaces during the darker weeks of autumn.
He has a habit of appearing only after the flames have burned low, when the room has gone quiet and the last red glow remains beneath the ash.
Merchant notes suggest that Cinder prefers the warmest place available and will relocate without apology if someone else is already sitting there.
Several records also mention small paw-shaped marks in the ash.No Familiar has accepted responsibility.
Cinder the ghost cat figurine stands at 5 cm in height.
