Button is a handmade collectible Samhain Harbinger Familiar figurine created by The Nordic Ghost Merchants in Denmark, inspired by old Scandinavian folklore, autumn omens, and the Familiars recorded throughout Merchant accounts.

The Familiars do not belong to the guild. Not exactly.

They were never apprenticed, never sworn in, never given a merchant's mark. They simply... arrived. As cats do. And having arrived, they stayed. As cats do. They learned the rhythms of the guild; the long hours, the careful work, the particular silence of a room where old things are being recorded. And they decided this was acceptable.

They are not catalogued in the Merchant's Ledger.

They are aware of this. They have opinions about it that they have chosen not to share.

The Samhain Harbinger Familiars are most often recorded during the weeks when autumn begins to lean toward winter. Their arrival is noted around dusk, after rain, and wherever the last orange light gathers low against the ground. Whether they travel with the Harbingers or simply appear at the same time each year remains unresolved

Button is most often recorded in sewing rooms, old bedrooms and anywhere small objects have been left unattended for longer than a few minutes.

He has a particular interest in buttons, pins, bits of ribbon and other things considered too insignificant to catalogue properly.

Merchant accounts note that missing objects are occasionally found gathered into small, neat piles after Button has been seen nearby.

Whether he is collecting, organising or simply relocating them remains unclear.

Button has never returned anything directly.
