The Last Sheaf is a small collection of six dark harvest spirits, created in honour of the old customs surrounding the closing of the harvest season.

Upon the body of every spirit is a small wheatsheaf mark. The same mark recorded beside certain late summer entries in the Merchants’ Guild archives.

The reason for its appearance has never been satisfactorily established.

What is known is that spirits bearing the mark have traditionally been documented only after the final cutting.

The Guild advises that they be treated with courtesy.

Old Guild accounts place Aksel at the edges of newly cut fields, where he is said to stand facing the empty stubble long after the harvesters have gone home. Those who found him there were advised never to ask what he was waiting for.

This ghost figurine is crafted through precision 3D printing.

Every piece is then airbrushed and detailed by hand, giving it the same shadowed eyes and inky tears as its hand poured sibling. This delivers the same emotion, the same murmur of old grief, carried in a new vessel.
