Thren is a handmade ghost figurine.
The Last Embers were made in the final days of October, inspired by the last glow of a Samhain fire; ash bodies scattered with fragments of copper, amber and gold, like warmth still caught beneath the surface.
Each Ghost is individually cast, finished and engraved by hand. The placement and colour of the inclusions differ naturally from one piece to the next, giving every Ghost its own pattern and character.
Thren has developed a habit of lingering beside newly completed work, as though conducting a final inspection of his own. No formal appointment has been made, though he appears to consider the matter settled.
