Morwen is a handmade collectible ghost figurine created by The Nordic Ghost Merchants in Denmark, inspired by the Jævndøgn Ghosts; equinox spirits preserved in Merchant folklore and old Repository accounts.

The Jævndøgn Ghosts are said to appear around the autumn equinox, when daylight and darkness briefly stand in balance and the first heavy morning fogs begin to settle across the Nordic landscape.

Their pale, mist-grey forms are crossed with wandering shades of berry, wine and darkened fruit colours remembered from hedgerows, fallen leaves and the last ripening things of the season. No two carry the markings in quite the same way.

Old accounts place their arrival in orchards, field margins and quiet roads shortly before dawn, where they are easiest to mistake for low fog until they begin to move.

Morwen carries some of the deeper autumn colour recorded among the Jævndøgn Ghosts, with berry-red markings gathered across her front and fading into softer traces along her trailing folds. The darker lines are said to recall crushed rowan fruit, rosehips and bramble leaves pressed into wet ground after wind and rain.

Merchant records place ghosts of this kind along old lanes and hedgerow paths shortly after storms, when fallen fruit has darkened beneath the trees and the morning fog settles pale over the disturbed ground.

Morwen the ghost figurine stands at just short of 8 cm in height.
