The Heliost Ghost Figurine - Revna

Midsummer in the Nordic lands is not only beautiful. It is watchful  

The lyse nætter, the bright nights, bring a light that does not behave as it should. It lingers past midnight.  And the old ones knew that when the veil thins at midsummer, it does not thin toward the dead. It thins toward something older.

The Heliosts arrive with this long light. They come carrying the warmth of a sun that would not set, and a quiet knowledge they will not share. What they have witnessed in the spaces between dusk and a dawn that never truly came; this they keep  

The landvættir were offered gifts at midsummer. Small things. Tokens of acknowledgment. Perhaps the Heliosts are what answered.  

She arrived with the long light and immediately took note. The ravens of the North have always been messengers, observers, carriers of what others miss and Revna is no different, except she is made of midsummer gold instead of midnight black.

She carries Huginn and Muninn's inheritance. Thought and memory, wrapped in honey and heat.

What Revna witnesses, she keeps. What she keeps, she carries back. To Whom, exactly, is not entirely clear.
