The guild has no record of how Marv came to be called Marv. The name was simply there when they looked.
In the north, winter does not merely arrive. It works.
It finds the cracks in stone and widens them. It strips bark from trees. It takes what was whole and reminds it, patiently and without malice, that nothing lasts forever.
The Eldritch are ghosts of that patience. Of centuries of Scandinavian winters leaving their mark on everything they touched.
Their striking texture is created through a precise technique. It cannot be rushed. It cannot be fully controlled. Each one carries the marks of its own making.
They are not frightening. They are simply very, very old.
