In the north, winter does not merely arrive. It works.

It finds the cracks in stone and widens them. It strips bark from trees. It takes what was whole and reminds it, patiently and without malice, that nothing lasts forever.

The Eldritch are ghosts of that patience. Of centuries of Scandinavian winters leaving their mark on everything they touched.

They are not frightening. They are simply very, very old.

Vale was recorded near a narrow mountain pass where winter winds scoured one side of the rock bare and buried the other beneath ice. The split pattern across their form is said to mirror that divide.
