The Eldritch are ghosts of that patience. Of centuries of Scandinavian winters leaving their mark on everything they touched.

They are not frightening. They are simply very, very old.

Tobias is said to have lingered beside a chapel wall where frost split the mortar winter after winter. The Guild records that the pattern upon him deepened with every season the cracks were left unrepaired.
