It finds the cracks in stone and widens them. It strips bark from trees. It takes what was whole and reminds it, patiently and without malice, that nothing lasts forever.

The Eldritch are ghosts of that patience. Of centuries of Scandinavian winters leaving their mark on everything they touched.

They are not frightening. They are simply very, very old.

Rook is said to have been found beside frozen furrows where a great gathering of rooks returned each winter. By spring the birds were gone, but their dark scattering seemed to remain upon him.

Rook the ghost figurine stands at just short of 9 cm.
