They learned the rhythms of the guild; the long hours, the careful work, the particular silence of a room where old things are being recorded. And they decided this was acceptable.
They are not catalogued in the Merchant's Ledger.
They are aware of this. They have opinions about it that they have chosen not to share.
Tuppence has the patient look of a Familiar who has already decided where he intends to sit and sees no reason to explain himself.
His Eldritch markings fall in long, weathered trails, as though winter has been slowly working its way down him for years.
