Erasmus is a handmade collectible Chronicler ghost figurine, poured, airbrushed, hand painted and engraved by The Nordic Ghost Merchants in Denmark. His design is inspired by old libraries, archival folklore, and the quiet record-keepers of the Merchant world.

The Chroniclers are quiet, bookish ghosts who haunt shelves rather than corridors.

They are found where it is quiet. Where paper is old, spines are worn, and dust has settled undisturbed for longer than anyone can remember. They ask only for peace, for order, and for the particular satisfaction of a record correctly kept.

They do not haunt.

They document.

Each Chronicler arrives with a task already in mind. Perhaps a ledger to complete, a shelf to organise, or some long-forgotten entry requiring correction. They are patient, thorough, and possess strong opinions about filing systems that they will not be discussing with you.

They have been here longer than you know.

They will be here long after.

Erasmus is most often recorded in the older sections of the Repository, particularly where several versions of the same account have been preserved.

He has a habit of lingering beside contradictory entries, apparently unwilling to accept that two Chroniclers may have witnessed the same event differently.

On more than one occasion, three separate versions of a record have later been found arranged side by side beneath him.

Ambrose’s note reads:

“Erasmus appears to believe disagreement is merely unfinished cataloguing.”

Erasmus the ghost figurine stands at 8 cm in height.
