Kattegat Ghost - Signe

The Kattegat is not a kind sea. It is the strait between Denmark and Sweden where the North Sea meets the Baltic. It's a place of cold currents and old memories. Fishermen who worked these waters did not speak of what they saw beneath the surface. They did not need to. The sea remembers on their behalf.  

The Kattegat Ghosts carry that water in them. Each one formed in the colours of an untamed Scandinavian Sea; pale fog, dark storms and the blue-grey of a sky that hasn't seen the sun in weeks. They arrived without warning. They may not stay.

She is not here by accident. Of all the Kattegat spirits, Signe alone seems to have arrived with a purpose already in mind. She has not shared what it is. She watches the horizon with the patience of someone who knows exactly what she is waiting for and is entirely certain it is coming. The others give her space. Not out of fear, out of respect for someone who already knows how the story ends
