Kattegat Ghost - Ran

The Kattegat is not a kind sea. It is the strait between Denmark and Sweden where the North Sea meets the Baltic. It's a place of cold currents and old memories. Fishermen who worked these waters did not speak of what they saw beneath the surface. They did not need to. The sea remembers on their behalf.  

The Kattegat Ghosts carry that water in them. Each one formed in the colours of an untamed Scandinavian Sea; pale fog, dark storms and the blue-grey of a sky that hasn't seen the sun in weeks. They arrived without warning. They may not stay.

Ran does not chase. She does not need to. The sea brings things to her eventually. It always has. She keeps what the water sends her. She is not cruel. She is simply inevitable. Those who have stood too long at the Kattegat shore report a feeling of being gently, persistently noticed. That is Ran. She noticed you first.
