The Kattegat is not a kind sea. It is the strait between Denmark and Sweden where the North Sea meets the Baltic. It's a place of cold currents and old memories. Fishermen who worked these waters did not speak of what they saw beneath the surface. They did not need to. The sea remembers on their behalf.

The Kattegat Ghosts carry that water in them. Each one formed in the colours of an untamed Scandinavian Sea; pale fog, dark storms and the blue-grey of a sky that hasn't seen the sun in weeks. They arrived without warning. They may not stay.

Malik does not arrive. Malik presides. He has been at the centre of the Kattegat shore since before the others formed their territories and their rivalries and their opinions. He observes all of it. He has never intervened. He has never needed to. When Malik moves, the other spirits notice. He finds this appropriate.

Malik the ghost figurine stands at just short of 9 cm.
