Kattegat Ghost Cat - Moby

The Kattegat is not a kind sea. It is the strait between Denmark and Sweden where the North Sea meets the Baltic. It's a place of cold currents and old memories. Fishermen who worked these waters did not speak of what they saw beneath the surface. They did not need to. The sea remembers on their behalf.  

The Kattegat Ghosts carry that water in them. Each one formed in the colours of an untamed Scandinavian Sea; pale fog, dark storms and the blue-grey of a sky that hasn't seen the sun in weeks. They arrived without warning. They may not stay.

Moby is large. Moby has always been large. The other ghost cats do not comment on this. Moby does not invite comment. He moves through the Kattegat with the unhurried certainty of something that has never once needed to be quick and knows it. He has been called a force of nature. He considers this an understatement.
