Kattegat Ghost Cat - Hook

The Kattegat is not a kind sea. It is the strait between Denmark and Sweden where the North Sea meets the Baltic. It's a place of cold currents and old memories. Fishermen who worked these waters did not speak of what they saw beneath the surface. They did not need to. The sea remembers on their behalf.  

The Kattegat Ghosts carry that water in them. Each one formed in the colours of an untamed Scandinavian Sea; pale fog, dark storms and the blue-grey of a sky that hasn't seen the sun in weeks. They arrived without warning. They may not stay.

Hook was a ship's cat, like Anchovy, except Hook actually remembers which ship. He chooses not to say. He has been in fights. He won. He considers the Kattegat his personal territory and has not yet been successfully argued out of this position. Approach with respect.
