Those who have spent time at the Repository will have noticed that Anchovy and Hook have never occupied the same shelf willingly.
Ambrose has spent some time attempting to establish the origin of this arrangement. Both parties have been unhelpful.
Hook remembers which ship he crewed. He has not said. Anchovy either does not remember hers, or maintains that she does not. The archivist suspects the latter.
What is known: they arrived on the Kattegat shore separately. They recognised each other immediately. Neither was pleased.
