The Pendle Press - Crossings Reported at Beltane
In the early hours of Beltane, witnesses reported unusual movement across the lower fields. The mist, which had settled heavily overnight, appeared to shift with some purpose. Several accounts describe pale figures drifting through it; unhurried, silent, following the dandelion seeds on the wind.
The crossings appear gentle in nature. Those who crossed did so on the thinning of the veil, as is the way of Beltane.
They have been named The Drifting.
