Lanternbound at the Turning of the Year

The Lanternbound ghosts appear at midwinter, when the nights are the longest and the paths are dusted with snow. 

These little spirits are attracted by the warmth of candles burning in dark windows.

As the workshops settle back into their quiet rituals, the Lanternbound are the first to take their place on the new year’s shelves. A steady omen. A small beginning.
